We had a good time with the CEMSies, also talking about our business plans that we had to prepare...... [view]

A fairytale wedding with beautiful music, good food, great mood and lovely friends around! I met my university friends and had such a wonderful time: laughs, catching up with our lives, planning a get2gether in July, danced, took pix and laughed more.

In honour of my first visit to the Lusitoland festival, the subject today is an institution in its own right; the Prego roll. Made with fresh Portuguese rolls, a spicy creamy sauce and steak, this perennial morsel is hard to get wrong but when done right, is an unfailing delight. Although...... [view]

Almaty - Kazakhstan's first kosher restaurant opened it's doors for business Wednesday in what Jewish community leaders said was a symbol of their culture's revival in the mainly Muslim Central Asian state.

I’ve always been type cast as the ‘angry guy’ amongst friends and now as I’ve become embedded within the corporate world amongst colleagues too. I think my belligerence, my gruff mutterings whilst audibly communicating with my stubborn desktop – pc is to blame....... [view]

I like to think that I have a very good understanding of dining in this city. Where to eat when you feel like sushi, where you should go for a business meeting, where you should take your discerning parents when they are in town... 2 years ago, it was never so. I was just your average...... [view]

A friend of mine took me to the Tinto Coffee House yesterday. Being a huge fan of anything that comes wrapped in a tortilla, I loved it! It has a great seating area - very chill and relaxed, its offering of free internet access drawing quite a collection of laptop users - and serves local,...... [view]

Started a dinner club with friends and had our first "meeting" last night at Dhaba Restaurant (309 King St. West, Toronto). I am generally skeptical of that strip of King St. - thinking of it much as I think of the Latin Quarter in Paris, a tourist trap - but the restaurant is, as NOW...... [view]
